Wise Foods Noodles and Beef in Savory Mushroom Sauce Review

I had an extra five minutes during lunch today and decided to try another one of the meals out of the Wise 72 Hour Emergency Food Kit, which would also allow me to continue the series of Long Term Storage Food Reviews I’m planning on.

I’d never had this entree before; Wise Foods Noodles and Beef in Savory Mushroom Sauce. Doesn’t that picture look appetizing?

Mountain House Chili Mac with Beef Review

Welcome to the first in a series of Taste Tests, covering both freeze dried and dehydrated foods commonly used for Long Term Storage. Since my wife had never had freeze dried food of any kind before I decided to start off with what is arguably the best freeze dried food currently produced: Mountain House Chili Mac with Beef

Honestly I could live on this stuff without complaint. I will occasionally have it for lunch if I’m in a hurry and it’s one of the primary foods I take when I go backpacking. This is probably why I have so much of it, and because I have so much I was very glad with the outcome of the taste test.
